Silver Jubilee Convention of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal , India 1997

"Jesus Christ the same, Yesterday, Today and Forever" (Heb. 13:8)

This Convention celebrates the Silver Jubilee of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in India. The design of the Convention Logo illustrates the 4-fold mission of Jesus Christ, which is at the same time that of His Body the Church, and therefore also of the Charismatic Renewal:

• A Hand turned upwards - To Pray
• A Hand turned facing down - To Heal
• A Hand face open facing downward - To Serve
• A Hand Pointing - To Teach

All the talks, workshops and outreaches will develop the theme (Heb:. 13:8) in the context of this 4-fold mission.

The Main Talks in English will be translated into Hindi and if possible also into Konkani, Malayalam and Tamil. Workshops will be in Regional Languages.

Obituary Notice Fr. Francis Rebello, s.j. Founder-Director of St. Joseph's College of Business Administration, Bangalore, passed away in coimbatore on 6th january 1998. He was 68. Fr, Rebello, a former Principal of St. Joseph's Evening College and St. Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore, was closely connected with the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement in India. Funeral will be held on Wednsday 7, at St. Joseph's Seminary, Fathima Retreat House, Mangalore.
