The Candidates will be attending fun-filled activities such as sleep over-pizza and pool party,Image Clinic,Car Wash, Fashion Show, Breakfast Buffet, Princess party and funfilled rehearsals.
As an ambassador you will attend many events which include parades, pageants,community luncheons, dances, carnivals, State Fair, receptions and banquets. A schedule will be given to the ambassadors to plan for their events.The ambassadors are expected to make their appearance schedule a priority. Most of the appearances occur during the summer, on weekends and on week nights.There are some activities during the school as well. You will truly be treated "like Royalty" everywhere you travel. As an ambassador you will have the opportunity to improve your communication skills speaking to people in other communities about Oak Grove. |

Pictures will be taken by a Professional Photographer. Picture packages will be available to purchase for friends and family.
Pictures will be taken every 15 min.You will sign up for your scheduled photo session.

Image Clinic
This 2 hour presentation is designed to teach Ambassadors and candidates how to portray the " best image of themselves" through knowledge and confidence.
Skills Taught
ETIQUETTE-How to make proper introductions, table manners and seating etiquette.
POISE-runway/ stage walking the correct way to sit in a chair,car and stage waving.
INTERVIEW- what to wear, and how to answer interview questions.
PUBLIC SPEAKING- use lights,sound and technical difficulities to your advantage. |

Due to liability issues we could not do a normal car wash in Oak Grove. We will be holding signs to bring people into the automatic car wash. We will get $2 per car that does the ultimate car wash the whole day.
We will be having the 2 older divisions do this. It will be to many people otherwise.
