There are a number of other collections of Mormon Americana which are not
found in university libraries and official Church collections. This page will
list a few of them.
Because these collections are not university-held, access to them is often
restricted. For example, the Daughters of Utah Pioneers (DUP) offers
access to their manuscript collection only to descendants of the document's
author.
