Pageant Goals and Purpose
To provide educational scholarships and college fund accounts to further the education of the young women in our community. Volunteerism is stressed by helping local businesses and civic groups with fund raising and public relations promotions. Our purpose is to promote personal growth by helping our youth improve their communication skills, appreciate their worth, gain self-confidence, and set goals for the future. We encourage excellence in all aspects of their life. We seek out, recognize and encourage our future leaders. |

Candidate Information
Requirements for Competition
* Candidates must be between the ages of sixteen and nineteen.
* Must be single, never been married, had a marriage
annulled, and never been pregnant.
* Must live in Oak Grove or Andover,or attend school in district # 15
* Must maintain a B grade point average.
* Donate a minimum of twelve hours of their time to
volunteer service and charitable organizations.
* Be a United States citizen.
* Compete in all five categories of competition
* Candidates who have held prior community titles and have been released from their title due to breaking the Code of Conduct and Contract will not be eligible to compete.

* Be a United States citizen.
* Compete in all four categories of competition.
* Candidates who have held prior community titles and have been released from their title due to breaking the Code of Conduct and Contract will not be eligible to compete.

Why should I run for Miss Oak Grove Ambassador?
I need the scholarship money. I want to develop my public speaking skills. I just did it because my friends were in it. It will look impressive on my resume for my future job opportunities. I like meeting new people and making new friends. I think I will make a good role model for my community. I heard it was a blast. I didn't really want to get a crown ,I just wanted to be a part of the fun.
